They paved the way for us to have security and strong democratic rights within our working environment and as time moves forward our local collectively will continue to negotiate for the rights of our members in a fair, democratic and comprehensive way.
CUPE Local 2816 has over 600+ members that represents the full-time and part-time support services (Housekeeping, Food Services, Plant Operations, Building Operators, Trades, Transport/Linen, Stores and Receiving Porters, Central Processing, Operating Room Attendants, POCU Attendants, Medical Device Re-processors, Licensed Refrigeration Mechanics, Pharmacy Stores Associates) of The Hospital for Sick Kids located in the heart of Metropolitan Toronto.
